October and mosquitoes. Little wretches that I still don't see the point of.
They quietly welcomed autumn about four weeks ago. We are not instant fans of these stinging vices. Fortunately, the fan brought solace. And the spray... the pharmacy was happy to see us coming 😂.
After scorching heat in August, autumn now brings crisp mornings and evenings. A bliss! We can function normally again or what you call normal....
The sheer horror that befell the Valencia region will have its effects for a long time to come.... Fortunately, on our mountain, we were spared this suffering. We did not have to endure more than a few thunderstorms. Blessed!
One of the reasons we love being here is the solidarity that prevails among Spaniards. How quickly relief operations were set up and everyone participated to bring material or physical their support to the disaster area. Wonderful to see this happening. Selfless and impressive.
Thank you for all your concerned messages, we were thankfully spared all that suffering.

A beautiful new building project in Villajoyosa, a rustic olive grove with building plans, a plot right next door, .... What initially started as purely a buying agent has since grown into much more. I really make a difference through my personal service and knowledge.

Our luck could not be better when my dad made sure we had a particularly nice week on our mountain. His approving eye gives us even more desire to continue building Finca Popoli, our home, our projects.
