We're already here, it's 2025!

A trip to Belgium, a nice holiday with the family.

Belgium is not exactly something we are looking forward to. We're looking forward to seeing our family, a lot, and that can't be enough!

Apart from that, the country of our birth has little to offer that would make us want to return.

Outside, all we saw in those few days was a lot of dark, grey and smog.

We wondered if it was the same a few years ago? Or did we just not notice it anymore?

So many long days without light, without a single moment of sunshine. It felt hopelessly depressing.

Now we are really used to blue skies, full of oxygen, and on rainy days (yes, we have them here too from time to time) we can always enjoy at least a moment of sunshine.

The grey, depressing atmosphere does not suit us as people, it even makes us sad. Just like the many people with grumpy faces we saw on the streets and in the shops.

As is our custom, we go shopping with our son as soon as we arrive in Belgium. It has become a thing to replenish his supplies :)

We noticed a lot of stress at the supermarket checkouts, everyone was in a hurry and restless. We, on the other hand, were in high spirits, filling the conveyor belt with our groceries.

The checkout lady was getting the brunt of the grumpy customers and was completely confused when we approached her and made friendly jokes. She looked back at us with a huge grateful smile as we took our shopping out.

What a beautiful moment! We brought a smile to someone's face. Goal achieved ;)

It's our natural way of life, friendliness and greeting, because that's how it is in Spain. Here they look angry if you don't say goodbye. In Belgium I got a 'Did I ask you to talk to me? Eh! Good afternoon?

2024 was a year of learning and growing. Our thoughts went back and forth, we were looking for a bit more structure after all.

All the opportunities that came our way caused a certain restlessness.

What to do first, yes or no?

As entrepreneurs, we always see the many opportunities, we do not go looking for them.

They find us.

Focus!

Our New Year's resolution will be just that: focus.

To move in the direction we choose together. Building on our activities.

Me as an acquisition broker and Pascal as a gastronomic consultant, with fine collaborations to come.

A very exciting and fun adventure based on our talents.

We'll keep you posted ;)

Working less and enjoying more was our starting point when we moved 30 months ago. Now it turns out that we still thrive best when we activate our professional ambitions. So that's what we're doing now :)

A little more quietly, though, to enjoy the space.

Although everything we do here is really fun, even if it is a hard day's work.

There's no way around it. The nature is so beautiful! We get sunshine in our faces every day. And it does us good! Light and a beautiful blue sky.

Working under it doesn't really feel like working. The space to breathe (literally) gives us a lot of rest. Batteries are constantly being recharged, holidays no longer feel like a necessity.

It seems like a plea to bring you all here. After all, it is our experience now, our reality.

So do you want to come here and work or enjoy from here?

I will search and find your ideal place and keep you informed throughout the process.

The sun, the light, the friendliness and my enthusiasm will be there :)
