Bij ons thuis in Bolulla (Costa Blanca) organiseren we private dining lunches voor één besloten gezelschap per service.

“Pure enjoyment in a unique setting” was for many years the slogan of our Belgian restaurant – and we are delighted to bring it with us to our new home in Spain.
Our finca is located in the charming village of Bolulla, just 20 minutes’ drive from Altea (Costa Blanca).
Here we invite you to discover Chef Pascal’s gastronomic cuisine, combined with exceptional views over the mountains and the valley.

Intimate, private, with a maximum of one group per service.
Informal and relaxed, at our home, at our guest table.
Not a restaurant, but a professional living room with time and attention for your party.

The Finca Popoli Experience

Our finca is located in the village of Bolulla, approximately 20 minutes from Altea.
We welcome one group per service, at our own guest table – not a restaurant, but a professional living room with views over the mountains and the valley.

  • Saturday and Sunday lunchtime

  • Start at 13:30, finishing around 17:00

  • Min. 6 – max. 10 guests

  • One private party, no other tables

You start with an aperitif at the bar, in the kitchen or on the terrace. Afterwards, you sit down for a long, relaxed lunch in a personal and intimate atmosphere.

We work with one clear principle: a Chef’s Choice degustation menu, entirely based on season and inspiration.

We do not communicate the exact menu in advance. For us, “no compromise” means having the freedom to create with the best products available at that moment.

Chef Pascal always chooses sustainable, high-quality ingredients and a perfect balance between fish and meat. Vegetarian menus can be created on request, but always for the entire group.
Pascal chooses to work with animal ingredients; vegan is therefore not possible.

Wine & 0.0 Pairing – without compromise

Our reputation for perfect pairings has been built since our Belgian restaurant – and we continue that line here.

Caroline provides a perfect pairing with every course, with:

Premium non-alcoholic drinks from our own import selection

Carefully selected local wines from regional bodegas

We only work with references we support 100% – no compromise on quality, neither for 0.0 nor for wine.

When you book, you can choose: a fully 0.0 pairing, a mix of 0.0 and local wines, or a premium wine pairing.

Practical information

We welcome only one party per service.
Since we are not a restaurant, we only work by reservation and with limited availability.

Price (incl. VAT): Menu: €89 per person - Pairing (0.0 / wine / mix): €49 per person

Reservations

Reservations at least 7 days in advance.

Your reservation is final after:

  • Written confirmation by e-mail

  • Receipt of a deposit of €50 per person

The deposit is deducted from the final bill.
Settlement always takes place upon departure from Finca Popoli and can be made in cash or by card.

Cancellation policy:In case of cancellation less than 7 days in advance, the deposit will be considered as compensation.

Allergies & dietary requirements

All dishes are prepared with the greatest care and love for sustainable, fresh products.
For this reason, it is not possible to make changes to the menu at the last minute.

  • Always mention serious allergies (such as shellfish, crustaceans, nuts…) when making your reservation.

  • Where feasible, Pascal will provide alternatives within the menu concept.

  • Vegetarian options can be developed on request for the entire group.

  • Extremely specific diets or individual exceptions cannot always be guaranteed; in that case we prefer to discuss honestly in advance whether the reservation is meaningful.

We are not a restaurant

Since we are not a traditional restaurant, we have no fixed opening hours.
We work only by reservation and for one party per service, with no additional tables.

This gives us the freedom to cook and host in the way we believe is best: with full attention to your table, without compromising on quality.

Location & tip

Our home is located “on the campo”.

For the best experience, the most beautiful views and the most relaxed drive, reservations are only possible for the lunchtime service (13:30 – approx. 17:00).

You will receive the exact address and directions with your booking confirmation.

About Pascal & Caroline

Pascal Vandenheulen is a Belgian chef, member of the 33 Masterchefs of Belgium and former chef-owner of a renowned Belgian restaurant. His cuisine is seasonal, product-driven and refined, without unnecessary show.

Caroline Poppe is hostess and driving force behind Finca Popoli. She is responsible for reception, pairing and the overall experience at the table.
